As a Freshman (2009-10)
Posted a season-best time of 51.03 in the 100-yard butterfly at the Atlantic 10 Championships.  

High School
Captained his swim team senior and junior years…2009 TCIS Conference Champion in 100-yard butterfly and 200 individual medley…broke school records in 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle relay…named 2008 and 2009 USA swimming scholastic All-American…also lettered in track.

Born on July 3, 1991…son of Steve and Tish Destree…has one sister Kate (10)…a swim instructor during the summer…graduated with 3.9 GPA and a member of the National Latin Honors Society…majoring in sports studies.
