ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - After ending his collegiate career with his first career hat trick on Sunday, senior forward Kevin Omokhua was named the Atlantic 10 men's soccer Player of the Week on Monday.
Omokhua started his final weekend in the Brown and White with a penalty kick goal in a 4-1 win over Saint Joseph's on Friday. Just two days later, he capped his career and the Bonnies season with all three goals in a 3-2 win over Temple. Omokhua finished his senior season as the team leader in points (16), goals (6) and assists (4).
The Brampton, Ontario native finished his illustrious four year career 10th all-time in the Bona record books for career points. He collected 42 points on 15 goals and 12 assists.
St. Bonaventure rebounded from a tough start this season by winning three of its last five games to stay alive in the race for the Atlantic 10 tournament until the final weekend. The Bonnies earned 11 points in conference play with a 3-4-2 mark.
