STORYLINE
St. Bonaventure plays its second consecutive Atlantic 10 game at home, needing a win against Fordham to advance in the A-10 standings Wednesday night under the lights.

NEARLY CRUNCH TIME … ALREADY
Just two games into the Atlantic 10 schedule, it seems silly to think that games already could have nearly "must-win" status, but the short nature of the A-10 men's soccer slate makes Wednesday very important for the Bonnies. Including Wednesday, just six games remain in the season with all of them coming against conference foes. St. Bonaventure will play three of those games at home and three on the road – the Bonnies will host Fordham (1-1-1 A-10), George Mason (0-2-1) and VCU (2-0-0) while traveling to Duquesne (1-2-0), La Salle (0-3-0) and Dayton (2-1-0).

HEARTBREAKERS START A-10 PLAY
St. Bonaventure enters Wednesday 0-2 in Atlantic play, but could have easily taken at least one point in both of its games to start league competition. The Bonnies led, 2-1, with less than nine minutes to play at Rhode Island before suffering 3-2 heartbreak, then fell to Davidson, 1-0, despite putting six shots on goal to Davidson's three.

SAVES LEADERS
Bonnies goalkeeper Luke Iacobellis continues to rank among the league's leaders in saves. He currently stands third with 56 saves on the season, behind only Saint Joseph's Greg O'Connell (62) and GW's Thor Arne Hofs (59).

TAKE YOUR SHOT
If shot totals are any indication, the Bonnies could be close to breaking through offensively. SBU ranks third in the A-10 with 147 shots on the season (12.3 per game). Junior Kosi Nwafornso is eighth in the league with 32 shot attempts.

NEXT UP
The Bonnies hit the road for back-to-back games, playing at Dayton on Saturday night and then at Duquesne next Wednesday before returning home to host George Mason on Saturday, Oct. 21.
