Long's Top 10 Highlights Opening Weekend For @BonniesGolf

HAMILTON, N.Y. – A tough final day of action at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational saw the St. Bonaventure University golf team finish tied for 10th in a field of 16 teams Sunday at Seven Oaks Golf Club.

St. Bonaventure came home with a team total score of 308 in the final round, completing the tournament 295-305-308/908.

Senior Corey Long concluded a solid opening weekend of work with a top 10 finish, tying for 10th on the individual leaderboard in the field of 83 golfers. Long carded a final round three-over 75 to wrap up the weekend with rounds of 69-77-75/221, playing the 6,834-yard course five-over for the tournament. It marks the fifth career top-10 finish for the McDonald, Pa. native.

A pair of sophomores took second and third on the team as Zach Chaddock recorded his best round of the tournament with a Sunday score of 75 to wrap up his weekend at 76-76-75/227. Classmate Nolan Ditcher went 75-75-79/229 for the tournament.

Freshman Danny Gianniny recorded scores of 75-77-79 for a 231 total while junior Dylan Glatz finished at 81-77-83/241.

The Bonnies are back in action next weekend at the Cornell Invitational at Robert Trent Jones Course hosted by Cornell University.
