FARMVILLE, Va. –
The St. Bonaventure golf team competes in its final regular-season tournament of the year this Friday and Saturday, April 13-14, at the Manor Intercollegiate, hosted by Longwood University and played at The Manor Resort Golf Club.

The Manor Intercollegiate will include 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday, and is open to the public with free admission. The Bonnies will be part of a 10-school field, featuring the host Lancers along with Bucknell, Delaware, George Washington, Long Island, Seton Hall, Towson, Wagner and Hampden-Sydney, as well as individuals from Virginia and Liberty.

Longwood is the defending tournament champion, posting a 54-hole score of 290-285-300--875 to easily win the team title among nine schools last year – a tournament that St. Bonaventure did not compete in.

This will be the sixth consecutive year that Longwood and The Manor Resort have joined together to host the event. The par-72 Manor course plays 6,675 yards from the blue tees and 7,214 yards from the black championship tees.

The Bonnies will be looking to bounce back from a pair of last-place finishes each of the last two weekends. Junior Brian McKenna was the lone Bona golfer last weekend to crack the top-40 with a three-round total of 236 at the Penn State Rutherford Intercollegiate.

The Manor Intercollegiate will be the team's final competitive tuneup before taking to the links for the Atlantic 10 Championship April 27-29 at Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Fla.
