Bonnies Add Loyola Maryland to Home Schedule

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure University men's basketball team has added Loyola University of Maryland to its 2011-12 schedule. The game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. tip on Dec. 18 at the Reilly Center.

The Greyhounds ended the 2010-11 season at 15-15 overall, including a 10-8 record in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play. Loyola - who return two All-MAAC selections in 6-foot-10 senior F Shane Walker and 6-foot-4 sophomore G Justin Drummond - earned the No. 5 seed in last year's MAAC Championship and fell to No. 4 seed Saint Peter's in the quarterfinals.

Bona head coach Mark Schmidt served as an assistant coach on the Greyhounds' staff that went 17-13 and earned the school's only NCAA tournament berth in 1994 under Skip Prosser.
