Played and started in all 48 games … hit a team-leading .340 with 38 RBIs … first on team with 13 doubles … second on team in both runs scored (38) and hits (64) … went 3-6 with six RBIs and two runs scored on Mar. 1st against Mount St. Mary’s … on the same day, he struck out three in 2.1 innings pitched for his first win of the season.
As A Sophomore (2011) - Game-by-Game
He was one of four Bonnies to start in all 46 games. At the plate…Hit .327 with 55 hits, three home runs, 31 runs scored and a team high 41 RBI. Against St. Louis on April 21, he went four for four with three RBI and a run scored. On the mound... He made seven pitching appearances, posting a 6.75 ERA in 6.2 innings. He struck out two batters against Western Michigan on March 1 and at Fordham April 10.
As A Freshman (2010)
Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team selection ... Louisville Slugger Freshman All American … started 45 games for the Bonnies … second on the team with a .337 batting average … hit three home runs, had 44 RBI, and scored another 30 runs … recorded a hit in 27 of the team's final 30 games … went 3-for-6 with five RBI on April 23 at Duquesne … also had an impact on the mound, making 14 relief appearances and recording a team-high four saves … closed out 11 games and struck out 21 batters in 18.1 innings of work … second-best ERA on the team (4.42) … struck out the side in his only inning of work on April 25 at Duquesne.
Four-year starter for Gilmour Academy at shortstop … batted .456 over four seasons with 109 runs scored, 147 hits, 28 doubles, nine home runs and 98 RBI … struck out just four times in 322 career at-bats … named team MVP over final three seasons while serving as team captain for the final two … was a three-time Cuyahoga River Baseball All-Conference choice, including the Player of the Year in 2008, and a three-time All-News Herald first team selection … two-time All-District and All-Ohio Division IV first team choice … hit .486 as a senior and was selected to the Cleveland vs. NY City Sandlot All-Star Series where he eventual earned MVP status of the Cleveland team … biggest offensive season came in 2008 when he hit .449 with 36 runs scored, eight doubles and a career-high 40 RBI … also started as the quarterback for the school’s varsity football team for two years and was named the Associated Press All-Northeast Lakes District V Offensive Player of the Year as a senior … he served as the team captain for the baseball, basketball and football teams in his junior and senior seasons.
