Seth Tisdale currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the St. Bonaventure University Men’s Basketball and Golf programs. He joined the St. Bonaventure sports medicine staff in the summer of 2016.
Before joining St. Bonaventure, Tisdale was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Stetson University in DeLand, Florida where he worked with the Men’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Rowing programs. Prior to Stetson, he worked at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he worked with the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs. He also assisted the Men’s Basketball program, which won the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship in 2015. Additionally, he assisted with institutional drug testing.
Seth is originally from Northfield, VT. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from High Point University and his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. While at High Point he worked with the Men’s Basketball, Women’s Lacrosse, and the Elon Football programs. While at SFA, he worked with the Lumberjack Football, Softball, Volleyball and Women’s Tennis programs. He also was a clinical preceptor for the graduate athletic training program and assisted with institutional drug testing.
In addition to being a certified athletic trainer, Tisdale is also an instructor in First Aid/CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer courses with the American Red Cross, a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, certified in FMS level 1 screen, is an authorized
