Bradly Pruett was named Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer for the Bonnies in July of 2016. He serves as the primary athletic trainer for baseball and oversees all aspects of the sports medicine department.

Pruett came to St. Bonaventure University after a two year stint at fellow Atlantic 10 institution VCU where he was an Assistant Athletic Trainer with baseball. During his time at VCU, the baseball program won its first Atlantic 10 title and a regional championship on its way to the program’s first ever super regional appearance.

Prior to his time at VCU, he was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Kent State University, serving as the primary athletic trainer for basketball while also supervising a graduate assistant trainer with baseball. Pruett also spent three years at Longwood University, working primarily with baseball and field hockey.

The Virginia native earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training at Longwood University in 2006. He then served as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Presbyterian College during the 2006-07 academic year. Pruett went on to serve as a Graduate Assistant and earned his Master of Science Degree in Health and Movement Science with a concentration in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009.

In addition to being a certified Athletic Trainer, Pruett is also a NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and holds a Level 1 certification to administer the Functional Movement Screen.

Pruett resides in Olean with his wife Jennifer, an assistant women's basketball coach at St. Bonaventure, and the couple’s son Jake.
